Prior to joining AIG in 2011 Simon spent the previous 20 years working in the personal lines claims arena where he held a number of senior leadership roles at RBSI and more latterly Tesco Bank where he held the role of Head of Claims. Upon joining AIG and making the move into the Commercial claims arena he has overseen a roots and branch review of AIG’s claims Casualty Claims service with a focus on putting the customer back at the heart of the claims process. Listening to the customer, evolving the service you deliver based on what they tell you and letting that drive the technology solutions you implement remain the principles on which Simon continues to his teams across the UK. A father of three and a passionate Manchester United fan Simon describes his time away from work as either cleaning up spilt milk or crying over it, referencing his team’s well documented demise from greatness over the last 5 years.
