David joined UK Finance’s predecessor in 2013. David is responsible for EU personal finance policy and industry matters (including payments, cards and retail banking) and plays a crucial role in managing strategic international developments from a UK perspective.
David engages externally with a wide network of stakeholders liaising closely with industry, government and regulators on a range of issues and represents the UK on a number of European level bodies.
Prior to joining UK Finance, David worked in the research sector on international and global security and governance. David studied at Sciences Po Paris and the University of Westminster.
Bruce Jennings is currently Strategic Development Director at FIS where he is responsible for Banking and Payments propositions in EMEA region. He has extensive knowledge in Fintech markets having worked in the sector for 20+ years as consultant, client and solution provider. Prior to FIS he held a number of senior positions at National Australia Group Europe where he oversaw IT and Business Transformation. Bruce also had a successful consulting career with Accenture and KPMG focusing on technology enabled change working with a range of Financial Institutions to help drive value from IT investment.
Lindley Gooden is a journalist and filmmaker who has worked at the very top levels of British broadcasting and news since the early 1990s.
He has worked in national radio and television as:
- A Senior BBC Journalist
- A presenter on channels as diverse as BBC One, Radio 1, BBC Three and Five and a range of other national and regional radio stations.
- The Consumer Affairs Correspondent on Sky News and Five
Prior to his years in the national media, he was known as the most successful Head of News in local commercial radio – launching new services and dramatically raising audience share and reach, using tools that have since been adopted by radio groups across the UK.
Lindley now works with companies, charities, government and other organisations creating and delivering their own media needs.
