Janet is the Head of AI at TSB Bank. She has an extensive track record of rolling out both large scale customer facing technology solutions and regulatory change and risk frameworks. Her recently completed MSc thesis looks at the topic of ‘Explainable AI for regulatory compliance, fair customer outcomes, and market stability in the global financial services sector’ and she regularly engages with regulators on this topic. Janet is excited about how these transformative technologies will combine with her change and risk skills to drive data powered smart automation in the banking industry, and for the greater good.
As Head of Digital Product John is the business owner for First Direct's digital services. He is involved in leading a range of initiatives including digital transformation, open banking and engagement with FinTechs. He was previously Head of Mobile Banking for HSBC UK and a Director of the Paym Mobile Payments scheme.
An award-winning banking leader with career specialisms in proposition development and strategy, Jamie is currently Head of Digital Banking & Innovation at RBS International – the international arm of the Royal Bank of Scotland Group.
In this role, Jamie is business owner of all customer facing digital channels – including Mobile, Online banking and Web. He is also responsible for developing and driving the banks overall innovation strategy – incubating new digital initiatives and driving cultural change across the bank.
A veteran in both the finance and technology industries, Richard is helping to lead Feedzai's global scaling. Before joining Feedzai, Richard held Vice President roles at both Experian and Accertify, during which time he built global sales teams and helped lead regional expansion. Richard has held leadership positions with Visa and PayPal, following various technical and development roles, and has also served as a member on the board of the Merchant Risk Council.
Lindley Gooden is a journalist and filmmaker who has worked at the very top levels of British broadcasting and news since the early 1990s.
He has worked in national radio and television as:
- A Senior BBC Journalist
- A presenter on channels as diverse as BBC One, Radio 1, BBC Three and Five and a range of other national and regional radio stations.
- The Consumer Affairs Correspondent on Sky News and Five
Prior to his years in the national media, he was known as the most successful Head of News in local commercial radio – launching new services and dramatically raising audience share and reach, using tools that have since been adopted by radio groups across the UK.
Lindley now works with companies, charities, government and other organisations creating and delivering their own media needs.
